

We are pleased to announce the next EvoKE 2023 meeting, which will take place at the University of Bath, UK, from 3-5 July 2023.
EvoKE 2023 will bring together researchers, educators, science communicators, journalists, policymakers, artists and any person interested in fostering networking around evolution literacy and strengthening its impacts on society.
Plenary Speakers
We are excited to confirm the presence of three truly inspiring plenary speakers at EvoKE 2023:
- Johnathan Tweet (USA) – Author of “Grandmother Fish”, the first book to teach evolution to preschoolers and creator of two evolution-themed card games.
- Dr Joana Moscoso (Portugal) – Co-founder & Director of Native Scientists and Co-founder of Chaperone.
- Dr Louise Mead (USA) – Education Director for the BEACON Center for the Study of Evolution in Action, USA.
- Dr Adam Rutherford (UK) – Geneticist, popular science author and radio presenter.
Preliminary Program
Together with our exciting and engaging plenary speakers, the EvoKE 2023 will host a range of interactive workshops on various aspects of evolution education, poster sessions, and social/networking opportunities.
An additional Science and Policy Development workshop will be available for those attending EvoKE 2023 on the 6th July. More information here
