Biology and Geology teacher, School book author
Bruno Sousa was born in the magnificent city of Porto, in the north of Portugal, where he began to learn about life and started doing his best to live it to its fullest. With a College degree in teaching Biology and Geology, he has lived in several cities in Portugal, ending up in the south, in sunny Algarve. There, besides teaching, he was part of a direction board for a school group (7 schools), and is connected with several national programs on curricular innovation and evaluation.
Bruno is also a Sciences school book author, trying to make the new generations interested and motivated to learn about biology and geology, promoting scientific literacy and maybe, just maybe make them more connected to our world.
In the last few years he has finished a masters degree on citizenship and educating cities and is ready to start a Phd. He is involved in several Erasmus projects, Euroscitizen and Evoke, seeing research as an opportunity to learn and spread new knowledge and ideas. When he has time (and inspiration), he tries to unwrap and shape words and sentences to find the emotions, strength and beauty hidden in them.
